release to the market right around 1998 after the first launch of the ref.5060 (36mm size)the second generation are considered a much more sporty look by the fact Patek make it larger at 38.5mm hence the nickname “Jumbo.”
The “Jumbo” ref.5065 production run between 1998-2007 along the way Patek’s used both of tritium and luminova applying to the hands and Marker, this example have the luminova and still growing strong.
